Notes

Senior Day for Joel Branstrom, Jerod Haase, Scot Pollard, Steve Ransom, Jacque Vaughn, and BJ Williams. All six seniors and LaFrentz were sent out to start the game. When the officials made them take out two players, Ransom and Branstrom went to the bench. KU was ranked in the top-25 for the entire career of the seniors. LaFrentz has scored 20+ points in nine straight games. KU wins the first Big 12 championship outright with this victory. This is KU's third consecutive conference title. Ray Evans' basketball jersey (#15) is retired today.
