"(Chenowith's rebound total) is something the kids should be proud of. I believe in milestones. I like things like that. But I didn't like the fact we had so many missed shots that enabled us to get some of those on the offensive end. We weren't as sharp as we'd like to be. I think Texas A&M was more aggressive than we were. They were more into the game than we were. But the fact of the matter is we're more blessed, is about what it boiled down to. And yet I like the way this club finds a way to stumble around and get me very frustrated, but yet win on the road. And you can't overemphasize how important that is in this league.

"I think the backboards was probably the key part of the game for us. We talked about that beforehand. They were like fourth in rebound margin, fifth in defensive field goal percentage, first in creating turnovers and steal. The big problem area for Texas A&M was shooting the basketball, and yet they made a bunch of shots tonight that caused us some problems. Again, we weren't sharp, but give Texas A&M credit for causing a lot of that.

"I've been getting on Kenny because his shooting percentage was about to get to single digits on the three-point line, but he made three tonight. But we can't depend on that. We've got to do a better job of capitalizing on the inside when we get the basketball in there where we had it tonight.

"T.J.'s happy about being back. Just about as happy as I am about it. I think we need T.J. He proved he's the best defender we have in the post before he got hurt. Hopefully, he'll have a chance to prove that again now that he's back.

"I hope this weekend is a weekend that everybody will remember because we play real well. And then I hope those extra things that will be going on won't be a distraction from what we're trying to do on the court. I'm excited about Wilt coming back. I'm excited about playing Kansas State, and I hope that we play well."
