"It was a win. It was a good win, but it certainly wasn’t what I had hoped for us. The effort wasn’t bad in the first half. The effort was terrific. Our brain effort was bad. The second half we did much better. We had a lot of steals and forced them into a lot of turnovers, but we didn’t convert them into that many points.

"We’ve got to shoot the basketball better. God almighty, you go 2-14 from three in the first half, and in the second half we wised up and took five. It’s amazing. You shoot 62% when you take five threes, and you shoot 24% when you take 14. We’ve got to be able to figure that out.

"I thought Wayne did a good job. It’s frustrating to me, though, because it puts too much pressure on Wayne. He gets eight offensive rebounds, Keith gets two, and two other guys on our team get one. Wayne got seven offensive rebounds in the first half, and Keith got two, and we missed 28 shots. Nobody else got one. We’ve got to do a better job there. But Wayne was big. Aaron had a nice run in the second half. It took Keith a while to get into the flow, but he was patient and he picked his spots. I thought he played great. David didn’t have a great game statistically, but he was pretty nervous coming in.

"We’ll have to play a lot better tomorrow night against Nevada. We can’t look better; we’ve got to play better to win. They’ll be ready for us. They’ve been practicing all week for us, and they’ll be a challenge for us."
