Roy Williams - "I just heard that was the first time ever (KU scored 100+ points on OSU) in 137 meetings. We caught Oklahoma State at a good time. They've had several guys hurt, and they're down in numbers. And we can run a lot of people out there, and hopefully the guys we run out there are gonna do a good job.

"I was really, really pleased with how active we were defensively in the first half. We forced some turnovers, got some things going for us on the break, and that helped us shoot a good percentage. I thought BJ was sensational early in the game. And yet we were trying to make sure we did a good job on Chianti (Roberts) and Adrian (Peterson). In the first half Adrian only had two points, but ended up with 19, and Chianti had about six.

"I really felt like we played well. We needed to be more emotional going into tonight's game than we were the last home game. The last home game we sorta just sat back and expected it to be easy, and it worked out that it wasn't.

"I told the kids in the locker room they had to enjoy playing that way, and the way you get there is to put that emotion in it to begin with. And, again, we caught Oklahoma State at a good time because they're really pretty well beat up, and it's difficult for them.

"We shot better from the three-point line than we did overall. I liked our shots. In the first half we missed only one (three-pointer), even though Jerod banked one in, and I'm not so sure the called glass on that one. But we had some good shots. Billy shot some, and it's important that Billy shoot some. He ended up hitting a couple of them. Terry Nooner shot one in. And Jerod was four for four, and that's awfully important to us.

"I thought BJ was really active and took good shots. His teammates got him the basketball two feet from the basket, and you should make those.

"Jacque has 10 assists and one turnover. He should have had 11 assists because he gave Raef a dead layup, and Raef missed it so he could get his own rebound and pad his rebound totals and put it back in. At least, that's what Scot Pollard said sitting over there on the bench. It was a good night for all of us, but I believe we set the tempo early in the game by what we did on the defensive end of the floor.

"They're going to examine (Pollard) after the game, so while we're out here, he's in there trying to find out what they say about his foot. I think they will release him to start doing some things the rest of this week. I don't foresee him playing on Saturday, and don't necessarily even see him playing on Monday, but we'll have to wait and see what he can do Friday in practice."

OSU coach Eddie Sutton - "Kansas tonight would probably beat any team in the country the way they shot the ball. We can play better and them them one out of 25 times with the team we have right now. They're the best team we've had in this league since I came to Oklahoma State.

"We've had some marvelous games up here. But like I told Roy after the game, we were outmanned tonight.

"To be realistic I thought we'd play Kansas better than we did. But to pull an upset we would have had to play great and they would have had to have their worst game of the year."

Scot Pollard on his injury - "It's going on how I feel, and I do not feel great. when the pain level goes down, I'll practice. It is still high. It's looking good as far as healing, but for now it's up to me. I don't want to rush it. I can take a step backward if it's not fully healed.

"I will play in (the KSU game, Senior Night) even if it means subbing in for a minute and shooting one shot and sitting down."
