Roy Williams - "I can't repeat some of (what he and the players were laughing about late in the game), because it's inside jokes. But I told C.B. to foul because I wanted to get somebody in the game. And so he fouled and gives me this comical look and says, 'You don't mind if I try to steal it, do you?' He's just an unusual kid.

"I love the way our kids had fun playing tonight. About the last six minutes of the first half we were really good defensively and passing the ball, moving it around. I never would have expected this kind of scoring, though I did try to stress to our guys, let's be ready to play. Let's play our game. This is not Brown. This not Washburn, and that's not a cut against either one of those teams. This is a basketball team that plays pretty doggone well. But the last six or seven minutes of the first half we were just sensational, and that was really the basketball game. And the kids kept their focus the whole game.

"When you move the ball like that and shoot that kind of percentage.... We had 20 assists at halftime, but if you remember 10 or 12 days ago we had 10 assists in a whole game (62-59 win at KSU), and I said that's not Kansas basketball. (Niagara) likes to go up and down themselves and tried to work on things that will help them once they get in their league, and the tempo was a lot faster. But to have 34 assists, we feel good about that. We got some good work tonight, and I like it too when you look down there and nobody played more than 24 minutes.

"Billy was five for six on threes, and I liked his hustle defensively. We want him to continue shooting. He's shot well all year long. He had one game and a half where he really didn't shoot it as well, but Billy's going to make a lot of them. And we've got to keep him confident, and we have to keep our confidence in him.

"You can talk about a lot of things, but I think it was just kids not overlooking anybody before we go back into conference play, and they were ready to play."

Niagara coach Jack Armstrong - "They were clearly the superior team from the beginning. It wasn't one or two people on their team who beat us. Every person played well, even their bench.

"It was hard enough trying to beat them with all of our players, but we knew we were really in trouble when (Johnson and Jobity) went out (with foul trouble).

"Everything worked for Kansas, and even things that should have worked didn't for us tonight. We were outmanned at every position. We were outmanned from our bench to their bench. We got a whipping tonight."
