"(2nd half 13-0 run) is the best we’ve looked for a period of time. Colorado got kind of tired, I think, and we got some run-outs. Keith was ultra-aggressive, and Aaron was ultra-aggressive. Wayne played terrific. But it was a good win. The first half, I think all our coaches would agree, was average at the very best. Then we actually played better the second half, but the score didn’t reflect it because they started making some shots that they missed the first half. Then, obviously, we blew that thing open pretty good and played really well offensively.

"Keith wasn’t in the game in the first half. They took him out of it, and we need Keith to be in it offensively. They played zone and kind of jammed it up. The zone didn’t kill us. We still scored 40 points, but it wasn’t a very pretty 40. I didn’t think Aaron was that aggressive and didn’t drive gaps the first half and the ball stuck in his hands. JR was just okay the first half. I thought our whole team was just okay with the exception of Dub offensively the first half. The second half we got the ball whipping around and moving, got it inside out and got some easy baskets. But still, we’ve got to do a lot better job of getting the ball inside against the zone. They’re open, but we’re getting tentative to throw it. But the second half we did a much better job.

"We did a good job on (Copeland; 22 points in Boulder, 0 in Lawrence). To be honest, we did a good job on everybody in the second half. They shoot a ton of threes, and they made only 33 percent. We’ve been shooting the ball really well away from home the last two games, and we get in today and shoot 6-24 from three, which is a lot of threes. But they played zone, and we’ve got to shoot the ball a lot better than that. But I’m not going to complain about winning by 29 against a league foe anytime.

"Aaron was great. But I think Aaron would be the first to tell you, the first half he was just okay because the team wasn’t great the first half, and he’s responsible for everything going on out there. But our body language and everything was better the second half, and we played with more energy. It was good to get out and run."
