"I know there have been some big regular season wins, but I don’t know that I’ve ever been a part of one bigger than that, ever. The guys wanted it so bad, and we were miserable offensively the first half, but our defense was great the whole game even though we gave up way too many offensive boards. We did a good job considering who we were playing with.

"How we played the second half was remarkable. Christian comes through; he’ s our leading scorer in the game. CJ comes through, Alex comes through, Sasha was great, and Mike Lee came through. You’re talking about guys who haven’t played that many minutes, and you go win at Kentucky. Keith has a concussion. Pretty severe, we don’t know how severe, Christian blew his ankle up, Dub’s got a cast on his hand, and Russell got hit so hard he had blurred vision most of the game, that’s why he didn’t play as much. For us to win that game, that’s a remarkable effort from our guys. Our guys were so tough. We won that game because Keith got a concussion. Here’s a kid in here crying because he wanted it so bad and he didn’t get a chance to finish the game. He walked out there stumbling and said, ‘Coach, you’re puttin’ me back in the game,’ and he couldn’t even stand up.

"They were all good plays. But God, did we compete. I mean, we competed hard against Georgia Tech, but I think today was even better. We were careless with the ball, their pressure bothered us, but we shot so well the second half and made plays and Mike Lee’s three.... I could just go on and on. There were some great plays today.

"We wouldn’t have won the game, probably, without free throws. Of course, we should have won the game more handily than that in my opinion. We’re up eight and we go down one, and what poise. Aaron makes the basket right after that, then we get a stop and we do it again. And we were fortunate tonight. They missed a lot of shots, especially threes, but our defense forced them to take a lot of threes.

"This was a break-out game for CJ and it was a break-out game for Sasha. Those two combined for 29 minutes, 17 points, and ten rebounds. That’s as good a production as all-league guys get who start and play 29 minutes. Hopefully it was a come-out game for both of them. They both played great."
