"It was a great win. Colorado is not an easy place to play, with the altitude and things like that. Plus, they’ve got a big horse inside. But our guys played well. We defended great early, and then we executed. Sometimes when you play well offensively you don’t guard as well, and that’s kind of what happened a little bit. We got good shots. But the big thing we did, when the game was on the line, Keith, Aaron, JR, Wayne... they stepped up and made some plays, and that’s what players do. The best players make the plays when the game is on the line, and today we certainly did that.

"We end the first half going from 16 (point lead) to eight. Against Villanova we end the first half going from eight to zero. We end the game against Villanova going from 18 to seven. So it was time to finish strong. And guys were sucking air out there; they were tired. We don’t need David and Jeff fouling out and playing that few minutes. But Christian and Moulaye and Jeff Hawkins came in and did a nice job.

"Wayne was something. But he got 16 shots, and he missed some he normally makes. He missed a lob dunk. But that’s two games in a row where he’s got the ball in the scoring area where he can do some good things, and hopefully we can keep that up.”
