NOTES
[1] #36 in Rivals150 for 2016. Will be eligible to play for KU after the end of the Fall 2017 semester, and
through AY2020-21 if he decides to stay in school all 5 years to play 4. "Signed" date will be when he is
officially enrolled.
[2]#33 in Rivals150 for 2015. Will sit out 2017-18, will have 2 years to play 2. Originally moved up a year
to the 2015 recruiting class so he could play with his older brother KJ.
[3]#54 in Rivals150 for 2015. Will sit out 2017-18, will have 2 years to play 2, may get 3 for 3 if NCAA
approves a 6th year due to medical redshirting his freshman year (was hurt in 10th game of the season).
[4] #55 in Rivals150 for 2016. Reportedly is applying for hardship transfer status so he can play this
fall (transferring to be closer to ill father), but getting it seems unlikely as it is questionable that
Lawrence is close enough to Chicago for this to be approved.
Assuming it is NOT granted, he will have 3 years to play 3 at KU.
[5] Younger brother of Connor Teahan. Rated as the 92nd best player in Missouri according to MaxPreps.
[6] A graduate transfer starter for W&M (immediately eligible for Fall 2017). Unranked by any of the services
out of HS (rated *** by Scout, ** by ESPN, unrated by Rivals and 247Sports). Averaging 22 minutes a game
(W&M was grooming his freshman replacement last year, otherwise he might has seen more minutes), his
2016-17 stats were 10.1 PPG, 5..4 RPG, 1.2 APG, 1.1 BPG, 1.5 TPG and 2.8 FPG. OFFERED (Multiple sources; where available, National Rank & Ratings are Rivals.)

NB: A Rivals 2017 Top 10 recruit, Robinson originally committed to WKU because his godfather was an
assistant there.
His godfather left before WKU's 2017 summer session began.
Robinson started attending 2017 summer classes, but word is he never practiced or did anything with the
team as he was considering transferring since his godfather had left.
If all the requirements have been met (and it looks like they have been), he should be able to play with
a new school right away in accordance with the transfer rules outlined in the following sections of the
NCAA Division I rules for 2017-18:
14.5.5.2 Exceptions for Transfers From Four-Year Colleges
Subsection 14.5.5.2.7 Two-Year Nonparticipation or Minimal Participation Exception.

On the downside, he did not pick KU.
On the plus side:
1. He chose early, letting KU move on early.
2. He did NOT pick Puke or Kenyucky.
SMH.

Here's a good piece on him:

As an aside, Billy Preston is my all-time favorite keyboardist. Love the sound of him playing the Hammond!

As I'm sure you know, he also famously played keys on Get Back (and other tunes off of Let It Be and Abbey Road for the Beatles), as well as songs by Clapton, the Stones, George Harrison, and others. I loved his solo work as well, and must've played the 45 single "Will It Go Round In Circles" a gazillion times in my youth!
It's good to know I'm not alone in my admiration of Billy's talent. And now we'll get to enjoy the "other" Billy Preston exhibiting his craft at KU!

Includes signing of PF Billy Preston (Rivals #8 ) and PG Marcus Garrett (#37), and moves prior recruits signed elsewhere or not interested in KU to former recruits listing.

Here's the link to their KANSAS MBB page -- verbalcommits.com/schools/kansas
The page seems empty when it first loads, but page down and you will see the aforementioned table for KU.
Enjoy and ROCK CHALK!

He will enroll for this spring, sit out through the end of the Fall 2017 semester, then be able to play through AY2020-21 if he stays to use all his eligibility. That's a possible 3.5 years in C&B.
Now we need to get another point guard (hello, Trae Young!) and another big to replace the departing LL (I'm not aware of who that might be at this point), and all 5 known available rides will have been taken.

The observant reader will note that it has not been updated in the last few days as Sam Cunliffe is not noted as transferring to KANSAS.
We seldom get word on transfers until they are almost, if not actually, a fait accompli (e.g., Cunliffe), but it's a little something to look at as far as opportunities to land another big for next year for go with Udoka, Billy Preston, Carlton Bragg, Mitch Lightfoot and Dwight Coleby.

CENTERS
Dante Williams , currently >gasp< KState
At present the only center on the list that is still looking. He was a Rivals 3 star out of HS , and comparing ESPN player stats to his Rivals data he has grown two inches (ESPN lists as 7-0) and has put on 30 pounds since his HS days.
POWER FORWARDS
Not really anyone on the list worth looking at from the quick research I did.
The one guy who looked interesting was Austin Nichols, a graduate transfer from Virginia (a 5 star out of HS, #17 in the 2013 Rivals150 who originally signed with Memphis), but UVa dismissed him back in November for violating team rules. Would be surprised if Self tried to get him, despite his decent #s (13 points and 6 rebounds per game in 29 minutes/game his sophomore season at Memphis, 11-3 in his short time at UVa.) KU was checking into him when he was transferring from Memphis to UVa, but I've read some comments to his being a sort of head case, so who knows if Self & Co might be interested now?

It's rated a toss up between KU and OU, but general impression I am getting from perusing the Slant and 247Sports is that OU has the edge.
A Norman OK kid, he could be the hometown hero and the starting PG from day 1.
Or he could come to KU as Frank's replacement, with every chance to play if he proves he's up to the job, and lead the team to it's next Big 12 title and possibly an NCAA crown.
Word is Dad likes KU, but Mom and Trae favor OU.
If he should choose KU, Self & Co will have one remaining scholarship to fill out of the 5 projected to be available after this spring.
We shall know soon enough.
The OP has been updated for all the current recruit decisions to date and remaining known KU offers. I'll update it again later Thursday (today) upon learning Young's decision.
ROCK CHALK!
(and fingers crossed we get Young, If not, we are still in the running for five star PG Trevon Duval)
