Assuming Cunliffe stays for his 5 years to play 4 --
F2016 plays at ASU, eligibility count begins
S2017 transfers to KU and sits out thru F2017 per transfer rules
S2018 plays for conference and postseason portion of AY2017-18
F2018 & S2019
F2019 & S2020
F2020 & S2021
S2021 is last term of eligibility
KU essentially gets him for an extra semester of play, most importantly as the conference season begins in S2018.
