Roy Williams - "It was a great basketball game. My guess is it was 100 times better than that next game that's coming on. Great atmosphere. Can't say enough about colorado's kids. We had them 12 at half, and they were sky high. You'd think that they'd be down a little bit, but they came storming out and Chauncey went crazy. Shows he's a least one of the better players in the league, having a fantastic year. We couldn't stop him. He was taking some shots out there that I sort of wanted him to take, but they kept going in. Yet, when they went one ahead, Raef was really big for us. I think after they went one ahead, he answered with a basket and then came down and made another one.

"You got to talk about B.J. stepping in and doing the things he did in Scot Pollard's place. We missed that extra rebounder in there because it seemed they were playing volleyball with it in there sometimes. I thought Jerod was sensational. Jacque the last 10 or 12 minutes was really good. I got a little mad at him, and that doesn't happen very often. I took him out, but down the stretch he made all the right decisions. Paul's rebounding... again, you can go through a lot of people.

"I was really surprised at (our free throw shooting). Paul missed a couple, then comes back the next time and makes both of them--I think the very next possession. We made some plays down the stretch.

"I expect good things from (Williams). At the same time, there in one stretch in the second half we get him a six-footer and Paul a four-footer, and they both missed it. But we went down on the other end and dfended, and they (CU) missed. And both those times B.J. got those rebounds. Rebounding was big in the game."

CU coach Ricardo Patton - "Obviously the difference between the #1 team and the #18 team is execution down the stretch. We tried to put them away too quickly and took some ill-advised shots. Everyone wanted to win so badly, and they felt they could do it on their own. That's being a teenager. Like I've said before, we've come a long way, and we've got a long way to go."
