"(Simien) was good again tonight. He didn’t shoot the ball quite as well as he’s been shooting it, and he still comes away with 25 (points) and 20 (rebounds; career high). We didn’t play great, and I really didn’t think we would, to be honest with you. I thought we would be a little tight, and I knew they would play zone the whole time. I thought it was real important that we make some shots early. The game went pretty much as scripted. I knew it would be a grind-it-out game. All our seniors played well, and JR came in and did a nice job, too. You’re not going to look very good unless you shoot the ball well, and we only shot 43% tonight. The final score was seven, and I had them turn it over on purpose there late. Aaron got a turnover. I told him to just toss it out of bounds so we could stop the clock. But for the most part, our guys did a good job.

"We just did average against Massey. Our first shot defense was fine, but we didn’t keep him off the free throw line. That was a big key. I thought we did a pretty good job on everybody, then we did a bad job on Justin Williams. He got six offensive rebounds and scored ten points on face-up shots, and we certainly could have done a better job on him.

"I thought we moved the ball pretty well (against the KSU zone). You’ve got to make some shots, and we ended up shooting it pretty good from behind the arc. But Christian was in and out of foul trouble, and I think we can certainly attack it better."
