"We played good. We didn’t get to Conklin early, obviously, and he’s 4-4. They just made shots early. They were unbelievable making shots. Then we finally started getting to the shooters. If I’m not mistaken, they only had two threes in the last 30 minutes, but they had like seven in the first ten (minutes). But it was good that the seniors were all able to start and play and contribute. I was happy with how the game went, but I wasn’t happy with the way it ended. That’s a 20-point game, but we jacked around and they made some plays late.

"That’s two games in a row. I think against Oklahoma we were +13 or +14 (rebounds). But to think that they only got eight offensive rebounds, we’re doing a better job, and they got a lot of those late. And we did a good job on the glass. Bryant Nash came in and gave us some good energy and got some rebounds. But all in all, I was pleased.

"I’ll tell you somebody else I was really pleased with. Of course, Dub’s numbers were great, JR scored some points, Jeff (Graves) was perfect from the field, Aaron is 7-0 (assists:turnovers), but David Padgett gave us five minutes, and that may not seem like much. The way we were in foul trouble, though, I thought they were good minutes. I got an MRI again today, and the doctors said he can’t hurt it (ankle) worse. But I thought he showed something getting out there again today.

"I thought Christian did a real nice job. I also thought Moulaye came in and gave us some really good minutes, too.

"We’re up 22, and then it’s 12, and it’s because we jacked around. It’s one thing that’s been a struggle with the team all year; killer instinct. When you get somebody down, remember how you got them down. It’s okay if they make some shots or make some plays and we miss them, but we got away from what we were doing, and that’s something that will cost you a game. It didn’t tonight, but those are things you’ve got to keep from experiencing.

"The Antlers are already starting to get to us. I know the players are already starting to get it. I started getting it at 12:40 last night. That’s when the calls started coming in. They’ve got all the numbers, and they’ve done their homework. This will get us all excited to play. It should be a remarkable atmosphere over there."
