"It's a very happy locker room. They played their tails off for 32 minutes, and then you have to give Arizona credit. I told them in the locker room at halftime it was in the same buidling last year we were down 16 at halftime and we didn't quit. And that team didn't win a national championship last year by being quitters. I was really impressed by them.

"I was disappointed in how we handled it down the stretch, but we need more preactice time. I've said plenty of times, we've had so many games we haven't had a chance to practice. And that was poor coaching out there tonight because those kids haven't had many opportunities to practice late-game situations, and that's my fault.

"It was a strange game because even down the stretch, two or three times we'd knock the ball loose and they'd pick it up and score. The ball bounced our way the majority of the game. Then it bounced their way quite a bit there at the end."
