"Defensively they were terrific, and of course offensively we were pitiful. But a lot of that was because of them. They junk it up and just get you to think, and we didn’t play good enough to do that, to handle what they threw at us.

"That’s about as good as I’ve seen anybody (Stinson) be. He’s really good. He’s a first team all-leaguer. There’s not a guard in our league that we’ve guarded that’s more effective than him one-on-one. He had a great game.

"But still, we played terrible. We got it to OT, we had a three-point lead in OT, and didn’t make a shot, didn’t attack the lane, didn’t pass it worth a flip, and that’s what happens.

"To start the game, I thought we got great shots, and we didn’t make any of them. The three shots we made were in tight. We got great shots and didn’t make any of them. And as the game went on those shots we missed that were good shots became hard shots, because we were thinking about it too much. As the game goes on, the collar gets tighter. Everybody knows that. We just didn’t handle that very well. We needed to have somebody with the guts to step up and make a play, and Jeff had the guts to do that, and he made two huge shots for us. But this was as disappointing a performance as I’ve had since I’ve been here. Certainly one that could be very costly if we don’t right the ship real quick.

"(Using ten players in the first ten minutes of the game) wasn’t searching. That was because Christian was out, so you don’t know what other big guys you’re going to play besides Sasha, so you’re trying to give everybody a chance to play, at least early, in case you have to play them late.

"I thought Sasha did good. He did some good things. The kid’s stepping up and making some free throws, although 3-6 is not terrific, but he’s really improved a ton in that area. I’m real pleased with him. I think he’s going to be a great player.

"I didn’t think we had any cushion (in the league race) before the game. But we shouldn’t even be thinking about the league race. We’ve got to be thinking about playing good against OU. We’ve got to play better down there. We played good at Texas Tech and we played miserably today. One guy in double figures, that pretty much sums it up. And you shoot 34% at home, and so many of our turnovers were unforced. We just acted like we’d never played before. We’ve got to do a lot better job in a lot of areas, and sure we’ve got to step up and make shots. Four-of-23 from three, and a guy who plays the last six minutes of the game (Hawkins) makes two of them. That’s some pretty miserable shooting.

"Yeah, we did have problems (getting the ball inside) today. The problem is that when guys kept turning the ball over, they’re scared to throw it in there, and Wayne’s open. And they were small in overtime. Small. Tiny. We didn’t throw the ball to him but one time, and he lost it the time we threw it to him. I guess that’s my fault. Guys just weren’t on the same page today."
