"It was never a basketball game. We never got it where we made them sweat at all. I’m really discouraged. We obviously didn’t guard well, and we obviously ran bad offense, and we obviously got our butts kicked on the glass. We were a very non-competitive team tonight. When it got a little hot early, that’s when we all kind of went our own ways and didn’t hang in there.

"Now give them (OSU) credit--they played great. They made some bad shots early, but that’s what happens when it goes against you. You’ve really got to be tough and hone in and execute and things like that. We had one guy who could play for them tonight. One guy who could get into their rotation, and he competed hard. But our other guys didn’t come to fight. And when you don’t come to fight and you’re off a little bit, that’s when you get seven offensive rebounds and go 5-15 at the line.

"The discouraging thing to me is you can tell how athletic and how tough you are by rebounding, and they were just a lot tougher and more athletic than we were.

"This was a great crowd. I’ve never heard a crowd that got louder when you’re on defense. They understand when you’ve got to get stops. This crowd was more excited about getting stops than it was offensively. But this wasn’t a homecoming for me. It was nice to come back and see the place, but the bottom line is we got our ass kicked by a team that was a lot better than us tonight."
