Saturday at 12:00 noon CT on CBS our AP#8 KANSAS JAYHAWKS (20-6|10-3) aim to continue their winning ways in Allen Fieldhouse with another “must have” win over the visiting Cincinnati Bearcats (14-12|6-7).
The Jayhawks have only played the Bearcats 10 times in their history, splitting the series 5-5. However, KANSAS has won 4 of the last five meetings, and the odds are in their favor to win again in AFH and finally take the series lead.
ESPN's Matchup Predictor has KANSAS winning almost 85% of the time (link). The spread is 10.5 points in KU’s favor.
asteroid had not posted his predictions for this game at post time. However, his Big XII Projection Round 14 projects a 74-62 KANSAS win in the THE PHOG.
Here is the link to CorpusJayhawk’s Rock Chalk Challenge newsletter projection with the predictions for this game (and again soooo much more). The DPPI is projecting a 78% chance of a KU win, with a spread of 10.5 points and a predicted score of 74.4-63.9
But Corpus himself says KU 75-58!

Peterson is playing, the only question is for how long?
The way the media is starting to gang up on him, and his drop from #1 to #2 draft pick in the projections have to be concerning, but regardless of the reality, it’s up to him to deal with the issue.
But you know what?
DP or DNP – and I sincerely hope it is DP - the Jayhawks are going to win this game.
