KU is just 4 back from UK.
Syracuse is just 5 back from Temple, and if nothing changes I anticipate the Orange will recover their fifth place position in the all time wins listing before the end of AY2021-22.
No one else is in striking distance of the team ahead of them for the AY2021-22 season.

After everyone but Temple starting play today, KU is just 3 back from UK.
UK was the only loser today.
KU, the tarred ones, Puke and Syracuse are all 1-0.

KANSAS remains 3 games behind the squids as everyone but Temple wins game 2 -- or games 2 & 3 in the case of puke, which had back to back games on Friday and Saturday against K's alma mater Army and the Campbell Camels (who, to be upfront about it. are projected to win their division in the Big South this season)..
With KANSAS having just one game and the squids having 2 from Nov 15-21, KANSAS may fall back to 4 games behind them barring a major upset in Lexington.

KANSAS remains 3 games behind the squids, but that may change over the next few days as UK plays more often than KU does. Of course, if they don't win... we can only hope. The same holds true for our 29 game edge on the tar heels.

KANSAS is the only program that has not played since the last update. As a result KANSAS once again is 4 games behind the squids, who have played 4 games in the 10 days from NOV 9-19, while KANSAS has only played 3. KANSAS does not play again until Thanksgiving Day in Florida when the Jayhawks play North Texas in game 2 of the ESPN Events Invitational tournament. It will be the first of 3 games in 4 days for KANSAS, who will potentially be playing #14 Alabama on NOV 28 if the teams play to chalk.
After losing to #7 Duke the #13 squids have pounded Robert Morris, Mount St. Mary's and Ohio to move to 3-1.
The #18 tarred ones started out 3-0, but lost to #6 Purdue 93-84 and #17 Tennessee 89-72 over the weekend.
#7 Puke keeps rolling along at 5-0, with the squids their only real competition until they host #1 Gonzaga on Friday NOV 26.
Temple, who is only on this list in recent years because of the 101 wins Syracuse had to vacate in 2015, is continuing its poor performance of recent years, now standing at 2-3. This is not John Chaney's Temple Owls.
Meanwhile Syracuse has played just 3 cupcake games so far and is 2-1 after losing at home to visiting Colgate 100-85. Hmmm...

With the loss to Dayton and the win against Iona, KANSAS stays at 4 games behind Kentucky.
Both programs have 1 game this next week (squids v Central Michigan on Monday 6 PM on ESPN+ in the arena named for a KANSAS alumnus, KU on Friday at St. John's at 6 PM CT on Fox Sports 1), so expectations are this time next week KANSAS will still be 4 games back.
The only Top 5/6 team to gain ground on KANSAS so far this season is undefeated and come Monday #1 Duke (7-0).
The unranked tarred ones (4-2) under first year head coach Hubert Davis are reportedly having issues rebounding the ball. The tarred ones may just be at .500 as next Sunday closes down, with 2 games this next week against #20 Michigan (4-2) on Wednesday at 8:15 PM on ESPN (at another arena named for a KANSAS alumnus) and then at unranked but 5-1 Georgia Tech on Sunday (2:00 PM CT ESPN2).
Duke plays one game this next week, at Ohio State on Tuesday (8:30 PM ESPN) and is favored to win.
Temple (3-3) plays 2 games at home this week (LaSalle and Pennsylvania).
Syracuse (3-3) also plays two games this week, but its prospects are much dimmer than Temple's. Tuesday they host Indiana (6-0), and Saturday they travel to Florida State (5-1) for their conference season opener. Hmm, hmm, hmm...
