"They totally manhandled us in every aspect of the game. It's the worst feeling I think I've ever had sitting on the bench because I felt like I was useless to my team. I did not have them prepared to face this kind of exhibition. I was totally outcoached in every way. This could be the shortest press conference in history because I have nothing to say. They absolutely just beat us in every phase of the game; physically, mentally, coaching. Everything you can say.

"Desmond Mason is a fantastic player. We knew he was a fantastic player. We talked about trying to get up and not let him have the open looks from three. They're nine of 13 from the three-point line, and that was one of our two focuses yesterday at practice and today in our pre-game talk. One of the two was to try to get up and not let anybody have the open looks.

"You can look at individuals all you want, but that's not the way I coach. I'm not concerned about individual performances. This team's got to get better and has got to be able to handle stuff on the road. Right now, every time we go out on the road, if there's the slightest problem early in the game, late in the game, whatever, I haven't gotten these kids to understand how to maintain their poise and keep their toughness. We've just been a crappy basketball team."
