"Colorado is really talented. We guarded them fairly well, but the biggest thing today was we rebounded the ball great, and it was group effort on the rebounds. I think our leading rebounder had seven -- Darnell and Christian. Everybody played well. I feel that we’re getting tougher and getting better. We played at altitude, CJ didn’t have a good game at all, Brandon didn’t scratch in the first half, Mario and Hawk were ineffective, Russell only had two points, and somehow we’re up two at the half. I thought that was the key. When we didn’t play well, we were still ahead.

"The guys off the bench played really well. I thought Darnell played his best game since he’s been back, I thought Sasha did some good things. Julian did some good things in limited minutes. And we played the second half.

"Brandon can’t be like that (zero points first half, 17 second half). That’s the thing we fight daily with him. He’s got to be aggressive. We ran a couple of deals to try to get him a shot early, and he didn’t look comfortable at first. Then after he got his first one to go down, he looked a lot better. People talk about our rotation. You never know. You never know who’s going to be playing well that night. I thought our bench came in and bought us some time and did a pretty good job. But I’m really pleased to get out of here with a W.

"I told Christian after the game, that’s the best game he’s played since I’ve coached him. He was terrific. He’s got a focus about him right now. And I thought Russell was really good. Oh, I thought he was good. And Mario did some good things. In limited minutes he gets 11 points and six assists and three steals. If he could just tighten his game up just a little bit.

"Hawk turned the ball over too much. He went through a stretch when he didn’t turn it over, but he’s gotten ripped the last two games, and he’s too good of a player to do that. And Micah got in there and tried hard, but he didn’t have anything go his way. He had four turnovers in seven minutes. But if you take Hawk and Micah’s turnovers out, we actually did a decent job of taking care of the basketball.

"This is a team where, if we can get a lead in the last ten minutes, we’re kind of hard to guard, the way we’re playing right now, and force teams to foul. Then if we make our free throws, we’ll be pretty effective. Tonight, fortunately, we made the majority of them.

"We can’t worry about anything other than us taking care of business, and tonight was a good start."
