COVID-19 today is the #1 Cause of Death in the United States, ahead of heart disease and cancer. And at current rates, by the end of 2021 COVID-19 will pass the 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic (the earliest recorded cases of which, ironically, occurred on the Fort Riley, Kansas US Army post, just before its troops were deployed to Europe to fight in World War I) as the deadliest event in US history.

Today EVERY CORNER of our nation is a biological combat zone.

While vaccines are being distributed to the high priority populace, the general public will not be getting the vaccine until late Spring at best.

MASKS ON, America!

EVENT USA DEAD

World War II 405,399 in 4 years 9 months
COVID-19 PANDEMIC 400,299 in 11 months (1st US death 2020-02-06)
World War I 116,516 in 1 year 9 months
Vietnam War 58,209 in 17 years 3 months

American Revolution 25,000 in 18 years 6 months
NB: Why do I cite Worldometers and not the Johns Hopkins numbers American media likes to use? Because -
(1) Worldometers is used by many international entities,
(2) most experts agree that for a variety of reasons COVID19 deaths are definitely being underreported and
(3) Worldometers routinely reports higher numbers than JHU does, with the difference currently over 10K as of today.
Given these three pieces of information, I have opted to consistently cite the higher numbers recorded by Worldometers.
