The young man made the pop world his own from the 1980s and well past 1999.
While I've never been a big fan, there is no denying his musical and cultural impact. And "1999" remains one of my all-time favorite songs ever.
He was far too young to be gone already.

I was just looking back at his "work"......quite a few where I'd say "it's got a good beat and you can dance to it, Dick!'
