I already did my mea culpa for bashing Ellis earlier this year.
He's now fully entrenched in my top Jayhawks ever club.
He just keeps getting it done, and he's bringing a new level of tenacity that we've never seen before.
He has finally figured out how to go up inside, alter his release point, and not get stuffed. I love it.
My man Ellis !!

Last year also Perry played better as the season went along. Hopefully this year he can avoid the injury bug and keep getting better. He looks to me like he is in much better shape.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
He is absolutely rocking it. Getting better as the season progresses. And not just better--MEANER, MORE AGGRESSIVE, MORE NASTY--to go along with that silky-smooth shooting touch and his nice floor moves.
LOVE/LOVE/LOVE IT!
I mentioned to my son tonight that he's starting to play like a guy who takes it to a whole different level in his final year. If he keeps progressing and stays on that plane in the post-season, look out!
