NIL and the portal have ruined college sports.
From the leopard not changing its spots file, UNC is now rumored to be courting Arizona's coach while he's actively in the final four. Reminds me of the rumors swirling around HCRW during that tournament run. I'm sorry, but I will never believe that a distraction of that level didn't contribute to our final loss to Syracuse that year. Now UNC's at it again, and the poor folks at Arizona will be left with dealing with an enormous distractions when everyone in that program should be focused on winning the next two games.
I hope UNC rots.

They even reference it in this article.

Lloyd's indirect response to a question about his future is not unfamiliar. After his Kansas team lost to Syracuse in the national title game in 2003, former North Carolina head coach Roy Williams famously said, "I could give a s--- about North Carolina right now," when asked about the opening that was created after the team fired former player Matt Doherty.

He agreed to a new 5-year deal with Arizona.
Good for him for locking it in...advance of his team's Final 4 game tomorrow.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
And then Zona proceeds to get absolutely boatraced (dismembered) in the FF game. By far their worst showing - not even close - of the entire season.
As HawkErrant likes to say, "things that make you go hmmmm...."
