I feel a little vindicated here

Felt like it was a job........

WTH???

You were getting PAID to play.

So yeah, it was a job.

I saw that video this morning and lost my mind. I always tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. I felt for Zeke Mayo who had some pretty nasty things written about him on social media but he kept fighting through it. I watched KJ put everything into a game and blow his achilles. The only one that gave up was Hunter and he did that early on in his second season.

I'm not so good with words and such, so I looked up what "job" means. It's apparently a noun and it refers to work that you do in exchange for money.

So Hunter got a few million to play basketball. I feel like I'm missing something here. Maybe he thought the money was for something else?

Meanwhile, 5 minutes into the St. John's game Zuby Ejifor has something like 80 points, 28 steals and a couple dozen assists and is playing with the energy and enthusiasm of 1000 kindergartners who have been given Red Bull. Aaah, what could have been.
