Does anyone really think #1 HS recruit Tyran Stokes is going to end up at KU after the last few weeks, culminating in tonight?

Maybe if KANSAS manages to get to the second weekend in the NCAA Tournament, but the way they have played lately that is looking VERY iffy.

All I know is if I am the youngster I'd be looking hard at how KANSAS has done the end of February and into March and reassessing my targets for my one year of college.

Last two years it was no defense Hunter Dickinson and no offense Dajuan Harris, recruiting question marks and transfers that simply did not meet expectations, plus not getting or having and losing some players who have gone on to have very good to excellent college careers elsewhere (2026 unanimous Big East POY and DPOY Zuby Ejiofor for one) because they were recruited/transferred over and they wanted playing time they could see they were not going to get.

This year has been a "Where's Waldo?" year with Peterson, the team playing strong without him when he was out, but falling apart as he has finally become a full time participant. At one point ranked very well in the services on offense and defense, the last 4 weeks plummeting as the team simply cannot find the way to score in most of its losses, and cannot figure out how to defend in all of them - and even in some of the wins where their shots were falling so they managed the W. Not to mention some glaring recruiting misses, such as how the hell did our staff not see Illinois freshman standout Keaton Wagler from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School just 37 miles from Allen Fieldhouse?

It's not a pretty picture, Jayhawks fans.

There needs to be changes in Lawerence. It is painfully clear that HCBS is not the same be it health or whatever. The offense is stale, he undervalues the 3 and doesn’t develop the bench. Win with your talented players, yes that might mean living with poor D and other issues to start but develop them. The whole coaching staff seems stale and out of ideas, maybe time for new voices. This is not a blip.

KANSAS should not be behind UH, UA, ISU it the B12, not with the resources at the program’s disposal. Travis Goff needs to have tough conversations otherwise this program goes the way of IU MBB ane NU football living off its glorious past. I

Good points. I've wondered about Wagler for some time now, and the Ejiofor situation is just maddening. Watching the level of play in the Arizona-ISU game and then seeing KU fumble around was quite jarring. Depressing, actually.
