"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
7:00 PM CT The Crimson and Blue Show radio coverage begins, leading into Brian Hanni and Greg Gurley calling the game for the Jayhawk Radio Network on the

starting at 8:00 PM CT.
Once more… (riffing off Phil Lynott’s best tune)...
The Cougars are back in tow-ow-ow-ow-own!
Can KANSAS take them down?
The Cougars are back in town again!
Can KANSAS beat them back again?
It’s another KANSAS JAYHAWKS Men’s Basketball...
... Buh duh DUH duh DUH DUH duh duh duh duh DUH DUH DUH ... BALL NIGHT!
Friday at 8:30 PM CT on ESPN our B12T 3 seed KANSAS JAYHAWKS (23-9|12-6) once again take on the Cougars of B12T 2 seed Houston (27-5|14-4), this time in the semifinals of the Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament. KANSAS leads the series 7-5, having won the latest contest 18 days ago in AFH. KANSAS managed to top TCU to advance to tonight against Houston, who put away a stubborn, Richie Saunders-less BYU to advance. This is the first meeting of KU and UH in the B12T.
ESPN's Matchup Predictor says KANSAS wins just 27.1% of the time (link). The spread is 5.5 points in favor of UH. Our Jayhawks are going to have to play really well – MUCH better than last night, IMHO - on the newly installed hardwood floor in order to win!
asteroid’s game projections are not yet available as of post time, but I’m sure the averages will project a Houston win. I’ll update this ASAP.
Here is the link to CorpusJayhawk’s Rock Chalk Challenge newsletter with it’s postgame analysis of the TCU game (great stuff, as always!) and it’s projection for tonight’s game. The DPPI projection has Houston P(Win)=71.9%, separated by 4.4 points, a rounded score of 68-72 UH. Of course Corpus is personally projecting a 2 point KU victory, 66-64. I like the way the RCC Commish thinks, don’t you?
