I follow Bishop Seabury Academy in Lawrence, a 1A school. The boys play Burlingame tomorrow just before the KU/UA game. Why BSA? Two of my kids went there and three current granddaughters attend the school and they have a fun and pretty talented boys BB team. Two of their seniors will probably play at D2 or D3 level after this year. BUT, you may not know that Tyshawn Taylor's son, Quinton Cruz Taylor, a freshman, is the starting PG. Tyshawn is volunteer coach for the team. During the regular season they played a very tough early schedule vs 1A-3A schools in the region but in league play, they play in KC/Topeka Christian league in which they only lost one game this year. Quin, or as he is known, Q, is a very talented player, very fast like his Dad, and will be about his father'si height. He looks maybe an inch shorter then TT right now. This is NOT a BB school but has great academics. It is ranked academically second in the state only to Collegiate out of Wichita amongst Private Schools. Two of their BB players from last year are playing at a D3 and a Juco this year. If interested, I will post how they are doing and especially, how Q is doing.
