"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
12 minutes left and KU went from down 6 for most of the 1st half to up 13 right now. While they still have time to screw this up, right now they are hitting on all cylinders.
Those of you who play golf will likely understand my mindset. In golf, you can totally screw up on hole and then come back the next hole and hit the most amazing shot of the year or card a birdie or better.
When this happens, I usually say, "same guy". The same guy who a few minutes before looked completely inept is suddenly the 2nd coming of Tiger.
I caught myself just now saying "Same team". The same team that looked like a deflating balloon against Cinci and couldn't hit the side of a barn in the 1st half of this one, is now doinating the #5 team in the country. Same team.

“The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits”. Albert Einstein
I was at the game with my friend, Al Lopes, from the bb class of 1965/66. Us old farts had a blast. The students were a blast. I will be taking my anti-anxiety pill tonight otherwise I won’t sleep.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
That's so awesome that you got to go with him to see such an epic game, Hoshi! Glad you got to see a big W (did you see Self beaming, shaking his fist in triumph, and high-fiving fans after the game? So cool)
Nice to also see all the KU b-ball alum in the stand, whooping it up and loving what they saw (after that rancid start to the game).
Hell of a win.
