I was watching the Knicks/Nuggets game earlier this evening. It was a great game as it took 2 OTs to finish.
For the Nuggets, Christian Braun is recently back from an injury and played pretty well. They had him guarding Knicks star point guard Jalen Brunson…which shows you that they respect his defense.
At the end of the regulation and the first OT, when Denver had the ball and a chance to tie or take the lead, the Knicks made a defensive substitution. They took out Brunson and subbed in former Jayhawk Kevin McCullar…who wound up guarding Braun. I know I enjoyed that little moment (even though it didn’t really mean anything
)
