Notable points from tonight...
• Tech game - in discussing the lost KANSAS challenge on the out of bounds call in late H2 -
SELF:
"From the video that we got when we challenged it, it was obvious to us that that ball was off of Texas Tech. The PROBLEM is what we have and what the officials look at may not be the same thing. Our league hasn't yet mastered the way that video replay works...
I talked to one of the officials and he said 'Bill, I don't think we got that same angle' and I'm how can you not get what I'm looking at?... Our league isn't as advanced as some other leagues are, because the other leagues, the way it's set up all the schools have the same access that you can get the exact same views as what the officials get. Our league isn't quite at that point yet, which needs to be corrected, obviously... We've known this all along, but at that moment, you know that could have played a big role in the outcome of the game, but fortunately it did not."
Commissioner Brett Yomark - get this fixed, sir, for the sake of all parties involved. A very bad look for your "second only to the NBA" league.
• Self after the Tech game said Flory was the best defender in America. Tonight he said "Yeah, I think he's pretty good... He's terrific...not too many teams have a 5 man you can switch and guard 1 through 5 and not be at a disadvantage."
But note that in the Q&A segment Self said Marcus Garrett was the best defender he's ever seen.
Not played for Kansas, but that he's ever seen.
There's much more you can still check out yourself by clicking on the link and choosing Play Past Events while you're puttering around during your day. (Ah, one of the hidden advantages to podcasts and audiobooks, being able to listen and not have to watch while you're taking care of other stuff)
Enjoy!
That is all... for now...

I really liked that HCBS called out the KU student section regarding their "Overrated" chant on Saturday directed toward AJ. Let's stay classy.
Regarding the chants from the TT students (no class) directed toward DP. When asked about whether he heard them, he said, "Nah." At another point he said he liked it. Who knows, but I like the fact that He is oblivious to it with ice water running in his veins.
