What the Heck?!?

With a full complement of players they go and lay another day egg in Orlando. This is getting pretty tiresome, 3 years in a row and KU can’t beat a pedestrian B12 team on the road. They are going to get their lunch handed to them each night if they show up and play D like that. What is going on in Lawrence when KU hoops is pedestrian?

Happy 2026!! But woof KU hoops. Maybe it’s time for a change, it’s just seems like Self isn’t built for the NIL era…losing to UCF is seriously pathetic. It was two years ago and if more so this year. Sit DP for the year and roll with the remaining players w/L. If KU has another lousy season (double digit losses and bottom of b12) then serious conversations can be had about the state of KU basketball.

I does seem that KU invests a chunk of NIL $ on one player. Two years of Hunter, one NCAA game won.

The team is being build around one player, two years ago when McCullers was hurt there wasn’t the shooting around Dickinson. Last year, that team did not pan out. This team was built around DP, but they have learned to play w/o him. Either roll w/o DP or play him off the bench accordingly but figure out how to stop losing to pedestrian teams. The shine on the “Kansas” brand is rubbing off.
