Was that a KU single game record for three-pointers?

Not a record. Second best to Downtown Terry Brown’s 11 in ‘91 against…NC State.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Just an incredible performance. My son likened it to the night Elijah went off in Ames.
Here’s a nice postgame interview with Jeff Goodman. (Note: the audio glitches at the beginning go away shortly after)

"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
Not much of a shooter, more of a role player.....yeah, right.
I really couldn't believe what I was seeing. Amazing performance. I think HCBS really likes him and his praise leading up to the game undoubtely helped boost his confidence, but come on...31 and 9 threes???? Absolutely crazy. Hope he keeps that confidence rolling because with the heart and energy he brings, it could be something special.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
36, NotO, 36!
(I made the same mistake myself, had to correct me.)

Konza, the comparison to EJ's performance at ISU (where he scored, I believe 39) is a good one! Good connection by your son!
