In my mind I'm gone to Carolina.
Jayhawks play the 'Pack there.
Hope they bring a win back from there.
It'd be so fine if that team of mine
could go over there and shine...
Yes I'm gone to Carolina in my mind...
as we hope with all our might that our team brings the fight
on another Kansas Jayhawks...

... Buh duh DUH duh DUH DUH duh duh duh duh DUH DUH DUH ... BALL NIGHT!

For the second time this season our KANSAS JAYHAWKS men's basketballers travel to North Carolina, this time to take on NC State in Raleigh, Here's the history of the series, which KU leads 13-1.

HC Bill Self reports Peterson is go for this game. He played roughly half of the Missouri game. Self rested him with the game well in hand because Darryn had been fighting the "flu" and was not feeling that great in the second half.

www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/gam...7259/kansas-nc-state
ESPN Analytics favor KANSAS to win a close one on the road, although the spread is 1.5 points in the Wolfpack's favor, with the Jayhawks coming out on top 55.3% of the time.
EDIT: in the few hours since this was first posted there has been a fairly significant swing in ESPN Analytics prediction. NCSt is now favored by 3.5, and predicted to win 55% of the time. That’s a huge shift!

I STILL like our chances, Jayhawks fans!

unreal OT win.

So glad NCST missed. Would have been sad for Council to have such a great offensive game only to be blamed for the loss because he missed the front ends of 2 straight 1&1s.

NEXT!

If you would have told me before the game the DnP would hit 2 3 pointers and nobody else on the team besides Mr. Melvin Council Jr. I would make a 3 pointer. I would have thought we were in trouble. Mr. Council was 9 of 15 from 3 and really mad a difference. Like The incredible "HawkErrant" pointed out. "So glad NCST missed. Would have been sad for Council to have such a great offensive game only to be blamed for the loss because he missed the front ends of 2 straight 1&1s" . This was one, er won, the guys really did tough out.
