Aside from the tremendous difference in defensive intensity and skill between this year’s and last year’s Jayhawks, FTs just might be the single biggest delta between them.
I read that last year’s team had 8 games where they took 20+ free throws,
This year’s team, in just 8 games, already has 5… and is hitting 76.5% of its free throws!
They are averaging
- taking just under
16 FT per game and
- scoring over 12 points from the line every game.
76.5% as a TEAM!
