Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
Hola to all my RC Board friends. I have been absent for a while. But I am back. I want to express many great appreciation to HawkErrant for his labor of love to keep this thing going as much as he has. Plus his encouragement to me to get back on the board. Life gets in the way and I have been super busy. I have been lurking but hopefully now I will be able to post again.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
So glad to see you back, amigo. Definitely miss your in-depth quantitative (and qualitative) takes.
Not sure where your head and heart are on this year’s squad, but for me the fun and joy (and pride of program) have returned after a couple down seasons. This is a talented squad that has really begun to develop under challenging circumstances, and their ceiling will become all the higher once the center-stage star returns. Self seems revived, Jacque adds another solid voice on the bench, and we seem primed for a solid (and enjoyable) season.
