Pay close attention to the TV times and channels. Multiple sources are reporting the schedule, and several have KU at 7pm CST, others at 6PM. Some show them playing on TNT, others show them playing on TruTV (YoutubeTV shows those games at different times so...???).

The 6 PM v 7 PM confusion is one of failing to indicate time zones. This CBS Sports article lists ETs.
www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/new...-in-2026-and-beyond/
Concern to me is that the
KU v Tennessee Game Notes show 4 PM CT on TNT, but that differs from every other source I’ve seen.
Unfortunately my DirecTV onscreen guide has not yet been updated for the specific games.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Tennessee is stout (obviously, beating Houston yesterday), but this is the draw I prefer at this particular point in the young season.
I’d much rather play them (without DP) than Michigan or Gonzaga, who will play in the other top game. Michigan is a juggernaut we don’t want to see sans DP, and we owe Gonzaga a major butt-whooping after last year’s tournament blowout and the game before that. For either or both, I prefer to get them in the tourney with DP back in the saddle.
As for playing Tenn, yes, it’s an uphill battle with us not having our stud and also Dawson for depth, but it’s a great developmental opportunity, we’re now playing with house money, and there’s no shame in losing to a Barnes team (if it were to happen) this early without our stud.
But as Bill Self no doubt is telling the guys today, “We’ve come this far, so why not go out and win it?” Play loose, have fun, and keep evolving.
Go Hawks and Happy Thanksgiving to all you RCBers!

KU 81, Tennesee 76
Wow!
Just wow!
Tre White fouls out with 16:52 to go in the game and KU down 38-48.
No White, no Dawson, no Peterson -- game over...
Tennessee up 55-43 with 15:00 to go in the game...
But someone forgot to tell Big Dawg Mel, EJ and the rest of the KANSAS crew.
With Mel channeling Tyshawn Taylor and EJ channeling Milt Newton, and simply excellent play by whoever else came in for KU to pick up the slack, the KANSAS JAYHAWKS leave Las Vegas with 3 wins in 3 days against solid competition and $300K for NIL.
WOOF! WOOF!
REALLY, really impressed and proud with how the guys came together to overcome the adversities and go on to defeat the Tennessee squad that sent Houston packing on Tuesday.
And I am left wondering -
Did we just witness Elmarko Jackson's breakout game?
Did we see the reason HCBS and the staff have been so high on EJ despite our disdain for EJ?
Time will tell -- but I obviouslly hope this was the start of something big!
Now the question becomes how will this team respond with the eventual return of DnP?
If they continue to play like this and Peterson adds his distinctive uniqueness to the collective to make the whole greater than the sum of the parts, these Jayhawks can fly very, very high this AY!
Is it entirely possible that the opponents' resistance will be futile?
Fingers crossed, Jayhawks fans, fingers crossed!
And a Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

Ditto to all your points and thoughts. This is a fun team to watch, much more quick and athletic than last year's group. Peterson being out has actually turned into a positive as it gave minutes to Jackson and Mc Dowell who responded beautifully. Now, if Peterson can just get healthy, this team might become a tough out for anybody.
