With the early signing period officially over. 82% of players within the Rivals 2026 Class Top 100 have committed to their future college.
But several high level prospects remain undecided, including seven five-stars. One of those is KU target and
overall #1 Tyran Stokes.
Kentucky, Kansas, and Oregon are his chosen 3. While UK has been the favorite, Kansas is still very much in the mix, and the Jayhawks have a genuine shot at landing him.
But… Stokes being a Nike athlete and KU an (arguably THE) adidas school works in favor of Kentucky and Oregon. So how much say does Nike have in his choice?
Or does Stokes makes his own decision regardless of brand affiliation?
Fingers crossed for the Crimson & Blue and Coach Self to come through!
While KU’s 2026 class* is currently ranked top 5, Stokes coming to Mount Oread would definitely give KANSAS the top recruiting class for 2026!

And both 247Sports and ESPN rate him 5*!
Just FYI…
