The kid has “League” written all over him. Love his game and ceiling.

Gut feeling: enjoy him while it lasts - he could be headed upward after the season.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”

1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.

I agree. I hope he and Flory learn to play with a bit more power by EOY but I will not be surprised if they head to the league sooner than I want.

Makes me wonder if NIL will keep kids in "school" longer. Getting paid 6-7 figures in college might be a better bet that risking the draft. Another angle: if you're the 5th best center entering the draft, but projected to be the 2nd best the following year, maybe staying is worth it. Finally, we have the Dickenson scenario: no chance of getting drafted, so extend your stay in college as long as possible because the NIL checks will be the biggest you ever cash.

Just assuming that NIL changes the math on some of these decisions.
