BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT
With the exception of the Men's Basketball board, most of the content posts in the Rock Chalk Board have been permanently deleted in order to try to enhance the stability of the site. Men's Basketball is going to be trimmed so that only posts from AY2021-22 forward are retained. If you have anything posted before that which you would like to keep, find it and copy it now. Beginning this Friday October 10, remaining posts made earlier than AY2021-22 (starting August 2021) will be deleted.

As you are all aware, this year Dave has been having significant issues with the site and the RCB being available for use. The latest occurrence resulted in the RCB being down from at least Monday though Saturday last week (Sep 29 - Oct 4)..
Even though the site and forum are now obviously up and running, Dave has informed me that he is still having issues that he cannot currently address as he is away on business and has limited access to the Internet. Last night he asked me to permanently delete posts in the forum boards in order to help stabilize the board for him, and I agreed to help.
I have permanently deleted (to get them totally out of the system) all of the posts contained in the Non-Sports boards and much of the Site Admin boards. I also permanently deleted all the content in all the Sports boards EXCEPT for Football and the behemoth of Men's Basketball.
Today I started deleting, earliest posts first, the Men's Basketball posts. But I have decided to wait until Friday to continue the task on the understandably very small chance someone here may want to preserve something for themselves from the period of the earliest remaining posts (February 2016) up through the start of AY2021-22 in August 2021.
Hopefully this clean up will help stabilize the site and forum and enable us to continue our community into and through this Academic Year's sports seasons.
