Roster updated to add the uniform #s and the grandfathered walk-ons.
Per the House v NCAA et al. case settlement, these players will be able to participate and not count against KU's roster limits as long as their eligibility lasts.
Note that both the KU Athletics and JayhawkSlant rosters are now updated.
Also note that I have arbitrarily assigned uniform #16 to Bryson Tiller as the official roster lists both him and WIll Thengvall with #15.
I'll adjust later once the official errata is corrected.

Changed Shelby’s information based on two pieces of information learned on Saturday 2025-06-14.
First, until corrected the official KUAthletics.com roster and bio summary data list him as a redshirt senior when it it clear from his bio details he is a redshirt junior - Vanderbilt as a freshman, Rice as a sophomore and last year he redshirted at Kansas. Unless his bio details are missing something, the RS SR designation is wrong.
Second, despite it being reported earlier this tear that he would be on scholarship for AY2025-26, as yet there has been nothing official said about him being awarded one. And Shay Wildeboor (Rivals JayhawkSlant) reports that what he is hearing is Shelby is still being carried as a walk-on.
With the settlement of House v NCAA grandfathering all AY2024-25 walk-ons with remaining eligibility and not having them count against the new scholarship|roster limits, Shelby as a walk-on gives Kansas another scholarship to offer, i.e., 3 rides available.
And if it turns out footballer Jaden Nickens will NOT also play hoops as he had planned (he’s not listed on the official roster), then Self & Co have 4 rides to offer.

1. Updated the ROSTER OP to reflect that Corbin Allen decided to redshirt for AY2025-26.
2. A bit of housekeeping… I neglected to mention updating the roster back in August for Noah Shelby opting to transfer out to Texas A&M, where he joins former Jayhawks Zach Clemence and Rylan Griffey for AY2025-26. Best of luck to them all at my other alma mater this season… unless they play KANSAS, of course!
Of note, none of them are mentioned in this SI update on TAMU men’s hoops link
