OT, KU baseball

KU just swept WVU to take second place in the Big 12 regular season with a record of 42-14 loosing by only by a few percentage points to WVU who played a few less games due to cancelations. I am not a baseball fan, having grown up following and playing cricket. I was the wicket keeper (catcher) on the KU cricket team in 1970 and the only non-Indian, Pakistani or West Indian on the team. The KU team is a strong hitting team and up until the last two weeks, struggling with their pitching. That changed. The team will make the NCAA. Good luck to the baseball team.

This is the best team they've had in a while. I'd enjoying seeing they get to Omaha.

KU baseball just made it back into the top 25 National rankings. WVU just got kicked out.

You have to believe. KU beat OSU 7/6 with a walk off run in the 9th inning.

Nice run but got our butts kicked last night by TCU in the Big 12 semifinal game. The only excuse was that their top hitter Hauge was held out with a hamstring injury. Giving up 11 runs however was not due to poor hitting. On to the NCAAs. However we probably lost our chance of hosting a regional.

KU to play Creighton, Friday PM, at the Fayetteville regional. The other participants are Arkansas and N Dakota State, who play in the afternoon. SEC is hosting 13 of the regionals, UGH!

KU/Creighton NCAA 1st Round, game is tonight at 7 PM CT and will be shown on ESPN+. Let's hope the KU pitching shows up tonight. I understand Creighton is a tough defensive team.

Well that was ugly. Pitchers struggled.

Disappointing end, great season. Pitching needs attention.
