The end is nothing; the road is all.

Well, at least America is great again . . .
I'm tired of all the "winning "

Oh, by all means! Let's get Mango Mussolini involved in this mess. What could possibly go wrong?

Political topics still have their own section.
Not hard to understand.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
Yes, the topic does involve college sports and political intrusion into it.
I think we can all agree that government involvement in college athletics is not a good thing regardless of which group is in control of Congress and/or the White House. A somewhat different argument when it is the courts that are involved, but even then it’s touchy to discuss here beyond the failures of the NCAA leading to someone involving the courts.
But other than that, let’s “keep it clean” in this forum, please.
Thanks.

The end is nothing; the road is all.
-- Jules Michelet
I started the digressing so I'll apologize. I was feeling "pissy" because my 401 is not "k" anymore and I'm nostalgic for the good old days of college athletics -- not that it wasn't corrupt, but we could pretend it was.
Now, truth be told, I don't think Donald could make it worse or my man Bernie would even care (not that he will ever be president).
So I call truce in this forum and wish us all well. Especially HCBS, his new staff and team.
We might not all agree on politics but we can all rally around Ole KU!

Oh, I understand perfectly, Governors. However, my response was to a political post in THIS section. That's pretty easy to understand, no?
