Same thing happened at Indiana essentially. All scholly players entered the portal. I've never felt so icky about the sport. Self just signed the kid from St. Bonnies and my reaction is kind of like, "ok, so what? Decent player from the A-10, but pretty much a crap shoot of whether he'll adopt Self's systems in time, and/or if the other all-star teammates that wind up in Lawrence for a few months next year will gel."

Not sure if I already said it here, but as I've told others, I think we're at a point where every D1 player needs to report to a football stadium someplace, and chuck last season's jersey into a pile at midfield and then to take a seat in the stands. Then load up a super high capacity t-shirt launcher with all the shirts and just start blasting away into the stands. Whatever jersey hits you is who you're playing for next year. Doesn't seem like the outcome would be any worse than where we're currently at.
