Poll: New Season: Hunter and The Miracles, or Golf Season?

It's a new season, the past is irrelevant, there's no reason we can't win this thing.

Quick poll:

The team is taking the predictable stance that the tournament represents a "new season" where the past doesn't matter and that there's nothing stopping these guys from winning it all. Nevertheless, very recent evidence suggests that these guys just don't have what it takes for whatever reason, and that kind of play generally translates to an early exit.

So what say you? Is this the year for "Hunter and the Miracles", or is it time to dust off the golf clubs and move past basketball for another year?

Actually, for me it's tennis, not golf, but yes, the vote is the same. I would be unhappy, but not surprised to see this group go out in the first round. My lasting impression of that exhibition way back in November was how quick the Arkansas guards were, much quicker than KU's. That was the first but far from the last time I thought this team was way overrated.

I will watch and hope that KANSAS beats Arkansas in Round 1 on Thursday, but even if we do I just don't see us getting past St. John's, our most likely opponent if we make Game 2 on Saturday in Rhode Island (practically a home game for St. John's).

But hey, I'm all for miracles.

And according to WILLIE!, they appear in the strangest of places.
