Spring is almost here and we remembered to "spring forward" last night . . . .

But this season has passed for our beloved Jayhawk cagers. We've all seen the surprising increase in vitality days before the person dies. I'm guessing we saw that on Senior Night with the beat down of the kitties. But the season has passed -- at least for those of us who have the traditional expectations for ole KU hoops.

Yes, the 1988 team was a six seed. I know, I was there. I knew Danny Manning and the Miracles, that team was a favorite of mine. This team is no "Danny and the Miracles."*

So, it's over for me. But what say you?

Unfortunately, I run the media end of my extended family’s yearly bracket challenge so I’ll need to be locked in. Once we’re out I will be pulling for K. Sampson and against D. Hurley. My feelings toward these two could not be more polar opposite!!

At this point, I'm just hoping we avoid further embarrassment. If we go in as a 4 seed, I believe we'll face a 13 and then (if we advance) and then a 12 or a 5. If we can play to chalk, I'll be over the moon.

I almost hope that we get beat Wednesday without Kevin and Hunter, and that they can be healthy for the first round of the dance.

Sadly, I don't believe in miracles with this squad.

I feel badly but I get no enjoyment watching this team play. I like your scenario, NotO.
