I can't even watch...

I've been watching KU basketball for years and years and years...but I just can't take it this year. I am more inclined to record it and if they win watch rather than suffer through this crap. I don't know what's wrong with them but they stink. They played fine the first half I guess but now it's just throwing pass after pass away and they can't hit jack. It's ridiculous!

Another stinking effort, another team that shoots well above their 3pt avg. Losing in Ames happens but darn it! This team is soft.

Actually, I thought it was a nice comeback. Fell short, but look, this team is just not that good. They don't shoot well, are not very athletic, and have no rim protector. Supposedly a really good defensive team, but they get beat off the dribble a lot and have trouble getting stops when they have to get them. And oh, yeah, either the bench is no good or Self has lost all confidence in them.
Either way, no factor. Way overrated at the start of the season. The rest of the year will be a slog. Furphy is happily the real deal. He will be fun to watch.

How does a team go from beating the likes of UK, UCONN, Tenn to wetting the bed against the likes of WVU, UCF. Again Ames is a tough place and ISu hitting 14 3’a again will shock me. Not like the teams Ku beat are not athletic. This team thus far on the court has been embarrassing on the road. It also falls to HCBS and staff for recruiting a team with all these shortcomings and lack of depth. HCBS is not doing a good job of these guys can’t beat also rans of the B12.

I think I may have jinxed them by noting how good HCBS's teams do in close games. Now the other team makes their clutch 3s and the Hawks miss. It is frustrating to watch. When your 2 star offensive players are 9 of 18, 1 of 5 from 3 and 5 of 18, 2 of 8 from 3, you are not going to win at a high %

I can't remember being less excited about KU b-ball. I actually fell asleep a few minutes into the game and didn't care. As much as I have been Self's supporter through the years, it is sad to see him mismanage the bench and fail to elevate his starters play. Dickinson, I believe, should be tearing it up out there!
