With all that has happened and is happening so far it seems a no brainer that the Big 12 “knocked it out of the park in the bottom of the ninth, bases loaded and down by 3, full count for the win!” in hiring Brett Yormark as its commissioner.
Here’s a tidbit I was unaware of that attests to Yormark’s acumen.

Yormark was a genius by putting in the media contract that the payout per team stays the same with any Power 5 teams added. Because of that he could (add) CU as a full share and not affect anyone else’s payouts. If the Big 10 or SEC adds teams, it lowers everyone’s payout by splitting the pie more ways. Big 12 could essentially poach the entire pac 12 and create a super conference without affecting KU’s payout. SMART MOVE!
