*When telling the LJW on 2022-08-19 that former KU Assistant Coach Joe Dooley would be returning to work with KU Men's Basketball, HC Bill Self reported Joe would be the new Director of Recruiting for the program. However, by the time his rehiring was officially announced in the article on KUAthletics.com dated 5 days later , his position was described as Director of Student-Athlete Development.

I do not remember -- and could not find in a quick online search -- why the change. If anyone knows and/or can provide a link to an article on the whys and wherefores of the change, much obliged!
