Based on the DPPI, KU is a 2.9 point favorite tonight with a projected score of 72.7 to 69.7 (round off error involved). The Jayhawks have a 67.5% probability of winning. Here are the various rankings of TCU and Kansas.

Average Score: 71.6
Average Opponent Score: 65.9
Average Possessions: 69.5
Long-Term Trend: 0.4
Short-term Trend: -0.4

KU
Power Rank: 44
Performance Rank: 39
Offense Rank: 52
Defense Rank: 26
SOS Rank: 38
Consistency Rank: 309
Record: 8-2
Average Score: 75.3
Average Opponent Score: 69.4
Average Possessions: 71.9
Long-Term Trend: 2.5
Short-term Trend: -0.8

The long-term trend is already included in the projection. TCU has a better short-term trend so you could include that and make KU a 2.5 point favorite. I personally am not a big believer in the short-term trend.

Attached below is my Big 12 schedule with the projections for all of the games. You can see that for tonight's games,

Texas is a 19.1 point favorite over Iowa St.
Texas Tech is a 17.8 point favorite over Kansas St.

It would be kind of fun to have one or both of those games result in an upset.

Big 12 Schedule

In some other games of interest

UNC over Miami (FL) by 1.8 (62%)
Rutgers over Michigan St. by 3.6 (73%
Clemson over NC State by 7.3 (91%)
Kentucky over Vandy by 6.7 (80%)

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
